Malcolm Warner of Laguna Art Museum
Are you looking for a dose of Laguna culture? Check out this week’s LBL episode where we sit down with Malcolm Warner, Executive Director of the Laguna Beach Art Museum.
Originally from the UK, Warner studied art history and architecture at the Courtauld Institute of Art London. After an extensive career in the art world, Malcolm moved to Laguna Beach where he’s eager to share his encyclopedic art knowledge and passion for bringing world-class exhibitions to the region.
Indeed, Laguna Beach Art Museum likes to keep things truly avant-garde and searches for exhibitions at least 12-36 months down the road. Check out their sculpture exhibition opening this summer as well as their locally famed ‘Art and Nature’ series.
A non-profit that is largely dependant on grants and donations, Warner and his team at Laguna Beach Art Museum are greatly appreciative of the community’s patronage. So why not get out this month and support some local arts and culture? Check out the ep here!
