When it comes to healing the body, mind, and spirit, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution — but for Sweet Being Wellness founder Danit Bea, it starts with food.

A certified holistic nutritionist and passionate chef, Danit helps people reconnect with their bodies and build healthier habits through personalized counseling that’s supportive, practical, and delicious.

Her work blends science and intuition, whole foods and joyful living — with zero restriction culture in sight.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that food is medicine, but that doesn’t mean it can’t taste incredible.

Sweet Being Wellness was born out of personal transformation. “I started Sweet Being during a painful divorce that impacted my physical and emotional health,” Danit shares. “Once I was able to nourish myself back to wellness, I felt called to help others on their own path.”

The name — Sweet Being — was dreamt up during a multigenerational family vacation, where her sister offered it up without hesitation.

“She said, ‘Sweet Being — that’s who you are,’ and it just felt right.”

Danit’s practice is all about sustainable shifts that honor each person’s individuality.

Her signature six-week nutrition program is where most clients begin.

Designed to dig beneath the surface, it combines personalized nutrition guidance with mindset work and habit shifts — helping clients understand their relationship with food, uncover what’s been holding them back, and build new routines that actually stick. The sessions are one-on-one and fully tailored, offering space for deep reflection, real strategy, and practical tools you can use in daily life.

This spring, she’s offering 25% off all nutrition programs, making her services even more accessible for those ready to take their health seriously — but gently.

And while her one-on-one work is the heart of Sweet Being Wellness, Danit’s impact extends far beyond her office.

Supper Club in Laguna Beach | Sweet Being Wellness | Bluebird Canyon Farm

Once a month, she gathers people around a long farm table under the sun at Bluebird Canyon Farms in Laguna Beach for her Supper Club — a seasonal dining experience that brings together community, conversation, and vibrant, locally sourced food.

The Supper Club is designed to nourish in every sense of the word.

“In a time when loneliness is at an all-time high, I wanted to create a space where people could gather, connect, and eat food that reflects the beauty of the season,” Danit says. “Spring is such a symbolic time — full of renewal and growth — and that’s exactly what I want people to feel when they sit down at my table.”

Every menu is built from the ground up — literally.

Danit walks the farm to see what’s thriving, picks up additional ingredients at the Laguna Beach Farmers Market, and sources fresh fish from local fishmongers. From there, she layers in thoughtful wine pairings — often from small-batch vintners like Native Hands Wines — and brings in floral design and curated tablescapes to complete the atmosphere.

One recent Supper Club featured dishes like collard greens spanakopita, grilled zucchini served with whipped fresh herb tzatziki, and a Tuscan kale salad. The main course included seared wild trout and smashed roasted potatoes. For dessert? Malabi custard cream with wild raspberry coulis, crushed pistachios, and coconut flakes — followed by biscotti with dark chocolate, dried cherries, and roasted almonds.

Every bite told a story — of the land, the season, and the care that went into it.

And that’s exactly the point.

“I really believe you can taste joy when food is grown and prepared with love,” she says. “I think people can feel the intention — not just in the food, but in the whole experience. It’s about connection.”

Danit’s small but mighty team of servers helps bring the event to life — creating a warm, welcoming space where strangers quickly become friends. The long table setup makes it easy to meet someone new, share a toast, and be reminded of what real community feels like.

Beyond the Supper Club and nutrition programs, Sweet Being Wellness is also a thoughtful gift idea — especially with Mother’s Day coming up.

“I can’t think of a better gift for moms than nutrition counseling,” Danit says. “Nothing says ‘I love you’ more than the gift of wellness.”

She’s also deeply committed to shopping and supporting local. “We’re one community, and in order for us all to thrive, we have to support each other’s endeavors,” she says. “I always check local boards first when I’m looking for something.”

Whether you’re looking for a personalized, sustainable path to better health or craving a meaningful shared meal that feels as nourishing as it is delicious, Sweet Being Wellness is worth getting to know. Danit’s thoughtful, joyful approach makes wellness feel like a celebration — one bite at a time.
