Luxury Skincare Line NoSH Body Opens Their Own Holistic Wellness Center

Sometimes you just need to relax — so you book yourself a massage at the spa and in an hour it’s over and done.

But what about when you need more?

What about when you need a Himalayan Sea Salt Sauna with light and oxygen therapy? What about when you need Taj Mat Therapy with 16 pounds of crushed amethyst, jade, and tourmaline? What about when you need to lay in a Hydro Massage Bed with 30 gallons of water circulating around your tired limbs, giving you a full body massage like you never even knew existed?

Shalene Bain, founder of luxury skincare line NoSH Body heard your cries and opened NoSH Holistic Wellness Center in Costa Mesa featuring ALL of it.

If you’ve been a loyal Laguna Beach Living reader for a while now, you might remember the last time we highlighted NoSH, fan-girling over their organic and vegan skincare. Two years later, we caught back up with the entrepreneur and was happy to learn all about her latest initiatives and offerings as she strives to make holistic wellness more accessible in Orange County.

“The goal with NoSH Holistic Wellness Center was to create a safe, private place to re-center,” says Bain.

Clients can book a personal 60 or 90 minute session in the relaxing, self-contained wellness room where they’ll have full access to each of the healing treatments. Pop into the Himalayan Sea Salt Sauna to improve your breathing and blood circulation before you lay down on the Taj Therapy Mat to stimulate cells and detoxify before you slip into the Hydro Massage Bed for an overall sense of relaxation.

The time is yours to unwind at your leisure, mixing and matching whatever it is you feel is going to optimize your personalized experience.

“There are no rules,” explains Bain. “We want people to come in, take a break from working, and concentrate on complete wellness.”

And that includes sound bowl therapy, educational tips and tricks, home remedies, and even a customized wellness shot targeted at boosting your immune system that Bain offers all her clients at the start of their session. She makes the kombucha drinks herself — which shows the inherent attention to detail that sets her apart from the rest.

Bain values the importance of collaboration when focusing on personal wellness and loves to really get to know her clients in order to learn their needs and optimize their experience. “The connection with our clients is so important to our branding and what we do,” explains the business owner.

And, as always, the same approach applies to NoSH BoDY services when booking a skin consultation or vegan tan, which they offer next door at the NoSH BoDY studio. Bain smiles as she adds, “Having every person that walks away look and feel their best is my absolute mission.”

And that’s what we call a total wellness experience.
