From mornings at the farmers market to sound baths in Heisler Park and dancing at the Marine Room, Laguna Beach local Aspen Potter shares seven of her favorite things around town.
For Laguna Beach local Aspen Potter, there's no place quite like home. A single mom, lifestyle content creator, and founder of the personal styling app STYLST, Aspen first moved to Laguna four years ago. But after becoming a mom and navigating some major life changes, she found herself living with her parents and dreaming of returning to the place she loved.
Now back in Laguna with her two-year-old daughter, Aspen says she's never been happier.
"Laguna truly healed my soul," she shares. "I'm the best mom I can be here, the best friend I can be, and the best business owner I can be."
That last role is keeping her especially busy. Inspired by her own experience of losing her sense of style after becoming a mom, Aspen created STYLST, a personal styling app designed to help women put together outfits from clothes they already own, shop more intentionally, and feel confident getting dressed. The app's waitlist is currently open at Stylst.co.
Between raising her daughter, building a business, and enjoying everything Laguna has to offer, Aspen has found a routine that makes her love living here even more.

Music in the Park at Bluebird Park
"One of my favorite things about Laguna is what an amazing place it is to raise my two-year-old daughter. We love going to Music in the Park at Bluebird Park during the summer. The concerts are so much fun, so family-friendly, and just one of those things that makes living here so special."
Laguna Beach Library & the Fairy Garden
"I love taking my daughter to the Laguna Beach Library. She gets to look through books while I get a little work done on STYLST. Afterward, we head outside to the Fairy Garden, which she absolutely loves. She could spend forever playing with all the little fairies and mermaids. It's such a sweet place to spend time together."
Sound Baths with The Compound
"The sound baths with The Compound are absolutely INCREDIBLE. Adrienne Kruse leads these beautiful community wellness gatherings in Laguna, and they're one of my favorite ways to unwind and reset. I love that there are opportunities like this to slow down and connect with yourself right here in town."
My Perfect Laguna Saturday
"My ideal Saturday starts with coffee at Jedidiah, which is my favorite coffee shop in the WORLD. Then I'd head to the Laguna Beach Farmers Market before meeting friends for brunch.
If I have friends visiting from out of town, I love taking them to Hotel Laguna. But if I'm meeting local friends, we'll usually go somewhere a little more low-key, like Zinc Café.
Then, if we're really making a day of it, I'd head to Montage Laguna Beach for a massage and some time by the pool. Their cold plunge is the absolute best!"
Broadway by Amar Santana
"Although I love Hotel Laguna, I actually think the best drinks in town are at Broadway by Amar Santana. I absolutely LOVE Broadway. It's one of my favorite spots to go out for cocktails."
Oto Sushi
"Oto Sushi is SO delicious. It's another one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Laguna. My recommendation? Ask for the 'Paper Plane' from their secret menu. Trust me, it's so good!"
Marine Room Tavern
"Marine Room Tavern is definitely my favorite place to end the night. I recently went with my boyfriend and some friends, and the band was absolutely kick-ass. It's the best place to dance silly, listen to great live music, and just have a really good time."
