Shades of Rosé with Argaux

Argaux Shades of Rose

One of our many favorite things about Costa Mesa’s wine club Argaux (other than them being our personal sommeliers in our back pockets), is how creative they are -- and how they soak that creativity into their wine.

Last year, we wrote about how co-founders, Arden Montgomery and Margaux Reaume, started their brand and how they were faring in a male-dominated industry. Fast forward to now, in the midst of quarantine when many businesses are struggling to stay alive, and Argaux has used that creativity to thrive.

They know we’re all stuck at home, and they know what makes that better is wine… and more wine.

From their Blind Tasting Kits Quarantine Edition (complete with four bottles of wine and tasting grids) to their Apéro Fridays (2 wines and a charcuterie board) to their Spritz Kitz (which pays homage to Italy’s favorite sparkling spritzer), they are keeping us hydrated on wine, all while educating us with their handy tasting guides so that once we’re back in the real world we can impress our friends with our newfound knowledge on what notes, flavors, and textures we find in each sip. Pinkies up!

Argaux+Shades+of+Rose

With summer on the horizon, Argaux is keeping the dream alive (beach or no beach, travel or no travel) with their Shades of Rosé campaign, and have selected 12 of their all-time favorite rosés from their go-to travel destinations. From translucent gold hues to rose-petal pink and fiery copper, no summer day will be complete without a glass of rosé.

For just $150 a month you’ll get six bottles delivered straight to your door in sustainable packaging from locales like California (May), Sancerre + Provence (June), Corsica (July), and Southern Italy (August).

(If you’re too excited right now to do math, that’s 24 bottles by the end of August.) #winning

Each bottle serves as the perfect host gift, whether that host is throwing the best “End of Quarantine” summer bash or that host is you, at home, rosé in one hand, mask in the other.

No matter what the future holds for us this (thirsty) summer, we can rest assured there will be plenty of wine nights, whether they’re on a boat, at the beach, by a pool, or right smack in the middle of your backyard -- your “Pocket Somm” has got you covered.
